The insulating layer is to be protected by a waterproof sheath. The pressure acting on a below-ground wall depends on several factors, including installation depth, soil characteristics, backfilling and the complete construction.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Drainage around the building should also be designed to prevent unwanted accumulation of water against the below-ground construction.<\/p>\r\nDuring backfilling, particular care should be taken to avoid <strong>damaging or displacing the insulation boards and the underlying waterproofing
