Since the insulation separates part of the existing wall mass from the conditioned space, rooms can also respond more quickly to intermittent heating, making the solution particularly interesting for spaces that are not continuously occupied.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>GIBITEC\u00ae ES<\/strong> is a prefabricated composite panel specifically designed for internal wall insulation. Care should be taken during installation to prevent adhesive or jointing material from creating irregularities between adjacent panels.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A suitable separation from the floor can be provided during installation to prevent the <strong>plasterboard edge from coming into direct contact with the floor<\/strong>, particularly where moisture may be present at the wall-to-floor junction. Suitable X-FOAM\u00ae spacers can be used where specified by the installation system.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Where the existing wall is significantly irregular or where a service cavity is required, <strong>GIBITEC\u00ae ES can be incorporated into an appropriately designed supporting system<\/strong> rather than being installed directly against the wall. The resulting cavity can also provide space for compatible building services.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Once the joints and surface have been correctly prepared, the plasterboard face can receive the <strong>specified internal finishing system<\/strong>, such as painting or another compatible decorative finish.<\/p>\r\nParticular attention should be given to windows, doors, corners, floor and ceiling junctions and connections with internal walls to maintain the continuity of the insulation and correctly manage thermal bridges and moisture-sensitive details.","meta_avvertenze":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Internal insulation changes the <strong>temperature and moisture conditions within the existing external wall<\/strong>. Correct detailing in these areas is important for maintaining the continuity of the thermal insulation.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The installation method should be selected according to the <strong>condition and geometry of the existing wall<\/strong>. Direct installation may be appropriate on suitable substrates, while a dedicated supporting frame can be considered where required by the wall condition or by the need to accommodate building services.<\/p>\r\nBecause the insulation is installed internally, its thickness reduces the usable internal dimensions of the room. The required thickness should therefore be selected by balancing thermal performance, available space and the characteristics of the existing
