Thanks to the embossed aluminum coating it is resistant to water leaks and water vapor. Joints, edges and penetrations influence the behaviour of the complete floor build-up.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Any vapour-control, damp-proof, waterproofing or separation layer required by the project must therefore be installed in the position specified by the floor design.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The supporting surface should be sufficiently <strong>flat, stable and clean<\/strong> to provide continuous support to the rigid insulation boards.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The screed thickness, reinforcement, heating-pipe spacing and operating temperatures are characteristics of the <strong>complete radiant floor system<\/strong> and should be determined according to its design rather than according to the insulation panel alone.<\/p>\r\nCare should be taken during subsequent installation operations to avoid damaging the insulation facings or allowing construction debris to accumulate between board
