Above the waterproofing system, the roof build-up incorporates the components required for <strong>root protection, drainage, water management, filtration, growing medium and vegetation<\/strong>, according to the selected green-roof system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Rigid <strong>polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation<\/strong> is particularly suitable for this type of warm-roof construction because it provides high thermal performance together with the mechanical characteristics required within the roof build-up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">For warm green roofs with compatible bituminous waterproofing systems, <strong>POLIISO\u00ae SB<\/strong> provides a dedicated PIR insulation solution. The insulation panels must be fastened to the hardcore with hot bitumen. A separating layer and waterproofing bituminous membrane are applied on the polyurethane panels. A root barrier membrane is applied to finish.\u00a0If the drainage layer has particles with a diameter of less than 10 mm, a filter layer is to be applied to protect the waterproofing against abrasion by the drainage layer and soil. the <strong>selected vegetation and green-roof
