A micro-ventilated pitched roof combines thermal insulation with controlled air circulation beneath the roof tiles, helping to manage the thermal conditions of the roof covering while maintaining a continuous insulation layer.
POLIISO® TEGOLA is a PIR insulation system specifically designed for micro-ventilated pitched roofs, suitable for both new buildings and roof renovation projects.
The panel consists of a rigid closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core faced on both sides with embossed aluminium and provides a declared thermal conductivity λD = 0.022 W/mK according to EN 13165.
POLIISO® TEGOLA integrates a metal tile-support profile along the panel and dedicated openings for under-tile air circulation. This configuration combines thermal insulation, tile support and micro-ventilation within a single roofing solution.
Air circulation beneath the tiles can help dissipate part of the heat accumulated under the roof covering and assist the drying of incidental moisture, while the continuous PIR layer provides the required thermal insulation.
