X-FOAM® MLB

X-FOAM® MLB is an indigo-blue thermal insulation board made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), manufactured without extrusion skin and with four straight butt edges. Its distinctive large-format size of 600 × 3000 mm makes it suitable for building and industrial applications where extensive surfaces or large components need to be insulated.

Depending on thickness, X-FOAM® MLB provides compressive strength values from ≥ 200 kPa to ≥ 300 kPa. The boards are available in thicknesses from 20 to 100 mm, providing flexibility for different thermal insulation requirements.

The skinless surface is a key characteristic of X-FOAM® MLB and makes the board particularly suitable for applications where the XPS is intended to be combined with other materials or incorporated as an insulating core in composite elements. The 3000 mm length also allows large components to be produced with fewer joints.

X-FOAM® MLB can be used for soffit insulation over open or unheated spaces, isothermal vehicles, sandwich panels and thermal bridge insulation, as well as for industrial applications requiring large-format XPS boards.

The product is classified Euroclass E for reaction to fire according to EN 13501-1.
