X-FOAM® EASY PIL

X-FOAM® EASY PIL is an indigo-blue thermal insulation board made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), manufactured without extrusion skin and with four straight butt edges. Its distinctive feature is the milled finish on both surfaces, specifically designed to improve adaptability to the substrate and facilitate adhesion when the board is combined with adhesives or plaster.

X-FOAM® EASY PIL has a compressive strength of ≥ 200 kPa and is manufactured in a large 600 × 3000 mm format, with thicknesses ranging from 25 to 100 mm. The extended length provides flexibility when insulating large or continuous construction elements, while the different available thicknesses allow the insulation layer to be selected according to project requirements.

The combination of a skinless XPS core and double-sided milled surface makes EASY PIL particularly suitable for construction details where the insulation needs to interface effectively with subsequent finishing layers.

Among its applications, X-FOAM® EASY PIL is used for thermal bridge insulation, helping maintain the continuity of the thermal insulation layer across critical building-envelope details.

The product is classified Euroclass E for reaction to fire according to EN 13501-1.
