POLIISO® VV HD

POLIISO® VV HD is a thermal insulation panel made of rigid closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, faced on both sides with saturated glass fibre. The HD – High Density configuration provides increased mechanical performance, with a compressive strength of ≥ 200 kPa, making the panel suitable for building applications where thermal insulation and higher resistance to compression are required.

Depending on thickness, POLIISO® VV HD has a declared thermal conductivity λD ranging from 0.025 to 0.028 W/mK according to EN 13165. The panels are manufactured in a standard size of 600 × 1200 mm and are available in thicknesses from 30 to 140 mm, providing different options for dimensioning the insulation layer according to the required thermal performance.

POLIISO® VV HD is a versatile solution for different roof configurations and can be used in warm roofs beneath synthetic or bituminous membranes, metal deck roofs, ventilated pitched roofs beneath bituminous membranes and warm green roof systems.

The product has a maximum operating temperature of 110 °C, providing an additional technical parameter for the design of roof build-ups where the insulation may be exposed to elevated temperatures.
