POLIISO® ED

POLIISO® ED is a thermal insulation panel made of rigid closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, faced on both sides with saturated mineralised glass fibre. Its configuration makes it a versatile insulation solution for different roof and wall build-ups, including applications in combination with synthetic waterproofing membranes.

Depending on thickness, POLIISO® ED has a declared thermal conductivity λD ranging from 0.025 to 0.028 W/mK according to EN 13165 and a compressive strength of ≥ 150 kPa. The panels are manufactured in a standard size of 600 × 1200 mm and are available in thicknesses from 30 to 160 mm, allowing the insulation layer to be dimensioned according to the thermal performance required by the project.

POLIISO® ED is suitable for several building-envelope applications, including warm roofs beneath synthetic membranes, metal deck roofs, ventilated pitched roofs beneath synthetic membranes and external wall insulation.

The combination of PIR thermal insulation, mineralised glass-fibre facings and a broad thickness range makes POLIISO® ED a flexible solution for achieving thermal continuity across different elements of the building envelope.
