POLIISO® FB

POLIISO® FB is a thermal insulation panel made of rigid closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, specifically designed for building-envelope applications where thermal performance is combined with a Euroclass B-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification according to EN 13501-1.

The PIR core is faced with two different supports: the upper side consists of a glass veil with added mineral fibres, while the lower side is faced with saturated mineralised glass veil. This specific configuration distinguishes POLIISO® FB within the POLIISO® range.

Depending on thickness, the panel has a declared thermal conductivity λD ranging from 0.025 to 0.028 W/mK according to EN 13165, together with a compressive strength of ≥ 150 kPa. POLIISO® FB is manufactured in a standard size of 600 × 1200 mm and is available in thicknesses from 30 to 160 mm, providing flexibility when dimensioning the insulation layer.

POLIISO® FB is suitable for the thermal insulation of walls, including ventilated façade applications, and roofs, providing a PIR insulation solution for different building-envelope configurations.
