X-FOAM® TRC

X-FOAM® TRC is an indigo-blue thermal insulation board made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), manufactured without extrusion skin and featuring longitudinal grooves on the surface and four straight butt edges.

The boards have a compressive strength ranging from ≥ 200 kPa to ≥ 300 kPa, depending on thickness, and are manufactured in a large 600 × 3000 mm format, with thicknesses from 20 to 100 mm.

The combination of a skinless XPS structure, longitudinally grooved surface and large-format dimensions makes X-FOAM® TRC particularly suitable for industrial processing and for integration into composite elements.

Typical applications include the production of sandwich panels and insulated components for isothermal vehicles, where XPS is used as the thermal insulation core within the finished element.

X-FOAM® TRC is classified Euroclass E for reaction to fire according to EN 13501-1.
