GIBITEC® ES

GIBITEC® ES is a prefabricated composite insulation panel consisting of a plasterboard layer coupled with X-FOAM® extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation without extrusion skin. The combination of the two materials provides a practical solution for the thermal insulation of internal walls, integrating the insulating layer and the plasterboard facing into a single prefabricated element.

The plasterboard is available in 13 mm mm thickness, while the complete panels are manufactured in a large 1200 × 3000 mm format and are available in a wide range of insulation thicknesses to meet different project requirements.

The X-FOAM® boards used as the insulating component have a compressive strength of ≥ 200 kPa and are classified Euroclass E for reaction to fire according to EN 13501-1.

Thanks to its composite configuration and large format, GIBITEC® ES is particularly suitable for internal wall insulation, providing a solution that combines the thermal performance of XPS with a plasterboard surface ready to be integrated into the internal finishing system.
