X-FOAM® LMF

X-FOAM® LMF is an indigo-blue thermal insulation board made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), with extrusion skin and four tongue & groove edges. Its large 600 × 2800 mm format and interlocking edge profile make it specifically suited to thermal insulation in cavity walls, where continuity and accurate connection between adjacent boards are important aspects of the insulation layer.

Depending on the board thickness, X-FOAM® LMF provides compressive strength values from ≥ 200 kPa to ≥ 300 kPa. The boards are available in thicknesses from 30 to 100 mm, allowing the insulation layer to be selected according to the thermal performance required by the project.

The tongue & groove edges on all four sides facilitate the connection between adjacent boards and help create a continuous insulation layer over large wall surfaces. The extended board length also allows large areas to be covered with fewer horizontal joints compared with smaller-format boards.

X-FOAM® LMF is classified Euroclass E for reaction to fire according to EN 13501-1.
